Kington Primary School
Built in 1896, as the new Board School, on Mill Street opposite the junction with Crabtree Lane. The redbrick building is of art nouveau design with Jacobean style porches. The opening of the Leominster to Kington railway line in 1857 resulted in the use of cheaply available imported bricks as a building material. The school's own website includes the mission statement: "Together at Kington we can provide the children with a happy and fulfilling childhood in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead". http://www.kington-primary.hereford.sch.uk/
