Sign to Burton Gardens (Weobley)
At first, me and my mother thought that this path would lead to public gardens, but we just guessed these were retirement houses, and how right we were!

Castle View (Weobley)
This building's namesake sure does describe itself, as from the highest window on the building, you can imagine how great the castle would be seen from there! This is one of the many timber-frame delights in the village of Weobley.

Weobley Castle
Founded in the 11th century by the de Lacy family, this castle consists of a ringwork and bailey that are still present by today. King John of England owned the castle in the beginning of the 13th century due to the de Lacy's spending most of their time in Ireland, but William de Braose sieged this castle in 1208 in part of destroying the King's property in Herefordshire. The castle was fixed up afterwards, but its later history is unknown. Only damaged earthworks remain of this castle, and you can walk through the site for free.
