The Great House (Dilwyn)
This sure is a great house! Founded around the 17th century, this Georgian building was built in the early 18th century, and had nearby relation to Karen Court, which the latter was formerly used as farmhouses for the Great House. The entrance to this house is very grand, although very oddly, Nikolaus Pevsner stated that this building is "unattractive". I hugely disagree with that.

The Great House
The Great House is probably timber-framed and dating from the 17th century, with an 18th century Georgian brick facade. The house is Grade II listed, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1349815?section=official-list-entry The Tyler family lived here in the 18th century, the poet Robert Southey was a distant relative through marriage and stayed here.
