Moreton-on-Lugg level crossing
A4 60009 "Union of South Africa" and its support coach from Carnforth to Bristol St Philip's Marsh on the 1st of June. The next day it was due to work the "Royal Duchy" railtour from Bristol Temple Meads to Par but was failed at Hereford and returned to Crewe for repair.

Moreton on Lugg level crossing
The level crossing has a railway signal box on the far side of it and a collection of what were railwaymen's cottages on this side. I understand that the building on the right may well have been the Moreton on Lugg railway station, long defunct and now also a home.
