Strawberry rows near Trevase Farm
The black polythene warms and dries the soil for early planting and cropping. Polytunnels will go over the crop in due course - there seems to be an allowance of six rows per tunnel. There is a house by the autumn-foliage tree named Lovedee.

Strawberry picking
The mechanised way is to have your pickers lie on a platform just above the plants while the tractor slowly pulls the equipment along. Beats bending down!
