The Old Rectory
Opposite St Michael's church.
A rectory house is known to have existed in Withington in 1727 but by 1827 it was in a poor state and Charles Heather, a builder/surveyor from Hereford was asked to design a new building. Using the old foundations, he produced a two and a half storey house of sandstone with a hipped slate roof. There are sash-windows and a porch with Tuscan columns.

Clock weight and partly obscured benchmark
I'm assuming this is a weight from an earlier clock mechanism, currently standing by the west tower of St Peter's Church. Partly visible to the left, on the base of the buttress, is a benchmark. See http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm33591
