Cottage on Castle Street
As can be seen at the gable end this is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century which has had a later brick facade added at a time when timber-framed buildings were unfashionable. The building is Grade II listed, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1196803

Castle Street, Hereford
Evening view of Castle Street. The downside of using street furniture as a tripod is evident in this shot ... I had to crop it quite heavily to remove the car nearest the camera from the shot, likewise the wall of the building to the left. Usually I'd have positioned the camera to exclude these from the shot, but I had little choice where to put the camera as I had to rest it on some railings to keep it still long enough to take this.
