Blue School Street
Part of Hereford's notorious ring road from the traffic lights at Widemarsh Street. The road is a problem now as with the expansion northwards of the city centre, it now runs through the middle of the shopping district. There are plans to build a new road further out linking Edgar Street, Widemarsh Street and Commercial Road.

The Herdsman (1), 54 Widemarsh Street, Hereford
Located on the corner of Widemarsh Street and the busy A438 dual-carriageway road. A traditional pub which offers food and has pub games and Sky Sports on two televisions. It is clear thyat an adjoining building has been demolished, probably when the dual carriageway was built.
