River Misbourne in Chalfont St Giles
It's the end of December yet the bed of the River Misbourne is dry. However nothing illustrates the vagaries of chalk streams more than the fact that only about a kilometre upstream of here in Image the river was flowing strongly today. This view was taken looking downstream from the Pheasant Hill bridge.
