View SE, towards Rickmansworth and London (Baker Street and Marylebone): ex-Metropolitan & Great Central Joint main line, to Aylesbury, Leicester and the North, junction of the branch to Chesham. The electrification of the London Transport ex-Metropolitan line from Baker Street was extended to Amersham (and Chesham) on 12/9/60 and services to Aylesbury reverted to steam, then Diesel trains from Marylebone, the ex-GC main line to the north having been closed in 1966.

View westward, towards Amersham and Aylesbury on the ex-Metropolitan & Great Central Joint line from London (Baker Street and Marylebone) to Aylesbury and beyond, from which the branch to Chesham turns off to the right after a mile or so. The train is made up of old Metropolitan coaches and propelled by LMS-type Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41272.
