River Misbourne in Little Missenden
This is the Misbourne flowing away downstream from near the old Mill House in Little Missenden. The Misbourne is a chalk stream prone to intermittent flow, hence the supposed origins of the name from "Missing bourne". Spot the dabbling swan.

Mill House, Little Missenden
It seems hard to believe that the little River Misbourne had enough water to reliably run a mill this size.
I'm guessing the chimney on the left was for a boiler added later for auxiliary power.
