Chesham Bois Pond
The small pond is on the edge of Chesham Bois common and is home to newts and frogs. The common has an open area in the centre, with a cricket pitch, surrounded by mixed woodland on all sides. The grassy area beyond the pond leads south to this open space. For the origin of the pond see Image

Green Lane in Bois Wood
A sunken bridleway runs through woodland down a dry valley from Chesham Bois at the top to near the River Chess at the bottom.

Chesham Bois Common
The open area in the centre of the common is surrounded by mixed woodland. This strip, adjacent to North Road, has several dips (the result of old clay digging perhaps?) which are fun for cycling but slightly tame for tobogganing.
