BT removal notice inside KX100 telephone box in Hill Avenue, Amersham
This notice dated the 15th August 2023 has been posted inside the telephone box in Hill Avenue. It has the following wording:
It's time to remove this payphone
Why? We've found that not enough people use it to justify keeping it.
So we've stopped the service ahead of taking the payphone away completely. But in the
meantime, you can still call 999 and 112.

KX100 Telephone Box in Hill Avenue, Amersham
This telephone box which is advertising a food caterer, is located in Hill Avenue HP6 5BD. However, it is due to be removed in the forthcoming months with the payphone having already been taken out. Amersham Railway Station can be seen in the background with its new bridge and lifts.
