St George's Church, Tylers Hill
Situated in Tylers Hill Road HP5 1XJ, this church was built in 1871 as a mission church from Christ Church, Waterside, SP9600 refers. Services are held here each Sunday at 11.15am with activities taking place during the week. It is known as The Church by the Woods.

Old clay pits, Cowcroft Woods, Botley
In this part of the wood the ground is very irregular with hollows. The Woodland Trust website http://www.wt-woods.org.uk/cowcroftwood/description.asp tells us that these are the remains of mineral workings associated with nearby brickworks.
