Bois Hill and Bois Moor Road, Chesham
Bois Hill, on the left, is an unmade road providing access to a row of houses. Bois Moor Road, on the right, bends round to the right to cross a narrow bridge over the railway. The bridge is too narrow for vehicles to pass, but the bend in the road means that drivers cannot see oncoming traffic. Traffic lights have therefore been provided to control the flow of traffic across the bridge.

River Chess at Chesham
The River Chess is a shallow chalk stream and the Chess Valley walk broadly follows its course between Chesham and Rickmansworth. The Chess Valley walk extends for ten miles between the towns of Rickmansworth and Chesham, each of which has a tube station on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground, enabling the whole walk to be done using public transport. Two intermediate tube stations at Chorleywood and Chalfont & Latimer each have connecting public footpaths, providing possible route variations.
