A historic pub halfway along the (now pedestrianised) High Street. I did not record the details on the plaque, expecting to be able to Google the history later. Wrong, I can't find anything about it.

Halifax Bank branch, Chesham
Located at 26 High Street HP5 1EP, this branch is due for closure on Tuesday 5th October 2021 as indicated by the notice in the window, https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6939506 refers. It is one of fifteen such branches due for closure in the autumn 2021. The ATM cash machine to the left of the notice will be taken out at the same time.

and long serving Councillor and Mayor

Incidentally, FSA after Dr Baines' name stands for 'Fellow of the Society
