The Queen Beech (or Harry Potter tree)
This pollarded beech, known as the "Queen Beech", is at least 350 years old. It was noted by the naturalist Richard Mabey in his book "Beechcombings". The area of Frithsden Beeches was a location for the Harry Potter films, and this beech "played" the Whomping Willow in "The Prisoner of Azkaban"
