Former Estate Cottages, Ringshall, Ashridge Estate
These cottages originally had a long plot of land in front to allow the occupants to grow vegetables - but like many such cottages have moved upmarket - and the area is used for lawns, shrubs and flowers.

Ringshall with castellated gatehouse / folly
The old open "Deer Leap" swimming pool has now gone, soon to be replaced by houses I believe. It was to the left of the road shown in this photo.
