Private Drive to The Hoo
According to the OS map this looked to be a public footpath, but I couldn't see a little green sign so didn't venture up it as the sign says "The Hoo : Private Drive" The Hoo is a large country house atop a hill overlooking the Gade valley. This drive is off Ledgemore Lane.

Gaddesden Hoo Cottages
The cottages on Ledgemore Lane were built in 1928 according to the inset plaque. They take their name from the nearby large house (see Image)
