Beech Grove, Station Road, Tring
The fine Victorian villa that once graced this site was pulled down when the site was redeveloped some time during the 1990s. Its gateposts, shown here, are all that remains. Some similar Victorian villas remain on Station Road; two are a short distance in the Tring direction from where this picture was taken Image, and the other ("The Wolds") at the opposite end of Station Road. Long may they be spared the demolisher's ball!
