The Entrance Drive to Wilstone Great Farm
The drive leaves the road between houses at Wilstone Green, and branches to the right for the modern farm yard before the row of black poplars. It continues straight on as a footpath to Wilstone Village, or to a right turn (beyond the trees and the pond) to the farm house. It would appear to closely follow the line of the original road from Wilstone to the centre of Tring.

Waiting by the Gateway at Wilstone Great Farm
The sheep, with a single lamb - while most have two, has just come under the gate and were surprised to see me. To the left is the footpath to Wilstone Village, over the gate the farm house can be seen, while the track to the right leads to the modern farmyard.

Lambing Time at Wilstone Great Farm
These sheep are in the meadow by the footpath from Wilstone to Wilstone Green. Most seem to have twins. The trees in the hedge on the far side of the field are black poplars.

Converted Barn ? Wilstone Little Farm ? Farm Shop
In converting the barn the wooden frame of the building has been exposed, so the structure can be seen. This barn is almost certainly several hundred years old.

Converted Barn ? Wilstone Little Farm ? Farm Shop
A century ago many of the farms in the area had wood framed weather boarded buildings. Many have fallen down (see the example Image). This one has been converted into a farm shop.
