Canal Farm, Buckland
These farm buildings are just on the Buckinghamshire side of the Bucks/Herts county boundary, and just north of Bridge No. 8 of the Aylesbury Arm of the Grand Union Canal. There is no farm house on this site, and no sign of significant livestock husbandry from this viewpoint. There is a very weathered sign on the gate which gives the name “Canal Farm” and “Braemar Flock of Pedigree Texel Sheep.” However I very much doubt that the farm is still used for this purpose.

"There's no such thing as the Dog Poo Fairy"
A "Keep Britain Tidy" cartoon sign of a winged fairy carrying a plastic bag of dog poo - an attempt to shame dog walkers who gather up dog poo then leave the bag hanging on a tree. A disgusting habit.

Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 8
This is another original farmers' access bridge over the canal and as such has not received the battering that the road bridges have suffered. This example is little altered since it was built between 1811 and 1814 when the canal was completed and as such merits Grade II Listing status.
