Passing through Lock 14 (1) On the way from Bridge No 14
This narrowboat has just come under Bridge No 14 on the Aylesbury Arm of the Grand Union Canal. It is passing a moored narrowboat and one of the many fishermen who frequent this stretch of the canal. Some water lilies are growing against the far bank of the canal and behind the young trees are a couple of fishing lakes. Image Follow this narrowboat: Image See also: Image and Image

Canal bridge
The bridge carries footpaths from Broughton to Bierton. The canal under the bridge narrows to just accommodate one boat, away from the bridge it is wide enough for boats to pass each other.

Entrance to Oak Farm, Broughton
This farm used to be advertised as a Rare Breeds Park, and is shown as such on the map. However there were no signs nor advertisements, so perhaps they've given up on that aspect of the farm.
