End of Aylesbury Arm, Grand Union Canal
Nearly all the water part of the canal remains as built, the only missing bit is a small covered dock extending a little further towards Walton Street, i.e. under the new building at the end. No original wharf buildings survive, which seems the fate of a lot of central Aylesbury.

University Campus Aylesbury Vale
So it says on the building. Somewhat enigmatic, but their website explains: 'What is University Campus Aylesbury Vale? A brand new campus in the centre of Aylesbury offering courses at degree level and for professional development. Courses at University Campus Aylesbury Vale are delivered by Buckinghamshire College Group and Buckinghamshire New University'.

Run-off sluice and weir, Aylesbury Arm, Grand Union Canal
The water coming down the arm from the main line is lost to the canal system here. Considering that the summit level of the main line has always been difficult to supply with water, it is remarkable that this arm survived, bleeding water away. Its running costs exceeded income substantially when commercial traffic ceased and before leisure use really took off.
