Aylesbury: St Mary's Church
There has probably been some form of ecclesiastical building on this site since about the 7th century, although the current building, much altered and added to, dates from, in the earliest, the 13th century. The spire and clock turret are very distinctive. The Church's website is here http://www.stmarysaylesbury.org.uk/ The church is very difficult to photograph, particularly during the summer, because it is surrounded on all sides by trees. This is the view looking up Church Street.
