Aylesbury: Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street got its name from the fact that the exiled King Louis XVIII of France was once sheltered at Hartwell House, which stands between Aylesbury and the village of Stone. The large gated openings in the buildings on the left suggest that coaches and horses needed to access the rears at one time.
