Aylesbury United FC v Braintree
The home club have now sadly had to leave this well equipped ground as the lease has expired. They now play at Leighton Buzzard, but hope to return soon. The match was between Aylesbury in green, and Braintree Town. The match finished as a dire nil nil.

The original building is thought to date from the early 17th century but has been extended since then. It is a listed building. It now in effect shares a site and car park with the adjacent Premier Inn but they are in different ownership. The pub is part of the All-Inns chain.
