Aylesbury: The Harrow public house
The pub is located at the junction of Cambridge Street (to the right) and Buckingham Street (to the left), just off the Market Square. According to the pub's excellent website http://www.theharrowpub.co.uk/ it dates back to the 16th century when the building was a farmhouse. In the 17th century it was converted into two public houses, the Harrow and the Barleycorn. Later still it became one large pub called the Farmyard and in May 2004 it had a major refurbishment to become a Firkin Beer Company house and was renamed the Harrow.
