Lucas Furniture Store
A new furniture store in an edge of town location on Sir Henry Lee Crescent opposite Aylesbury Parkway station.
Lucas have been in the furniture business since 1898.

Aylesbury Vale Parkway - train awaiting departure
The 12.13 for London Marylebone awaits its scheduled departure time. The train's entire load of passengers (plus me) can be seen. Many more joined at Aylesbury's town centre station.

Aylesbury Vale Parkway station
View SE, towards Aylesbury and London. This is a new station, opened 14/12/08, on the former Metropolitan & GC Joint main line from London (Marylebone) to Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, etc., which was joint (from Harrow-on-the Hill) with the Metropolitan Line from Baker Street to Verney Junction. The line north of Aylesbury had been closed since 3/9/66, but kept in use for trains of household waste to Claydon via Calvert and for access to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton Road.
