Field Edge near Bishopstone
Bland farming scenery is the recipe for this square.
This is the Vale of Aylesbury in all its flatness, with very little in the way of contours till you get to the Chilterns, visible on the horizon.

A Harrowing Picture
I don't know...I seem to have photographed a lot of shut pubs on my days out recently.
Somebody said the rate of pub closures was easing off a bit, but not round here it isn't.
This place still looks like if the lights were on and a welcoming pint was on the bar, everything would be all right again, but I guess that's wishful thinking.
