Part of Lodge Lane, Prestwood, Bucks
I had just driven down Lodge Lane to locate Cherry Cottage, a former home of Clement Attlee, the famous post-war Prime Minister. And driving back I thought how happy Attlee might be if he could see this road today; nice housing for nice well educated citizens who have benefited from the NHS, state education, economic growth, home ownership and decent communities - all principles he espoused and advocated.
