The Baptist Church is set off from the High Street but is so large that it cannot be photographed in its entirety from elsewhere. It is a Grade II Listed Building and the Historic England website describes it thus:- "1838. Stucco front, flint rubble sides with red brick dressings. One storey. Podium with stone steps, four doric pilasters with recessed central porch containing large 8-panel door. Side bays have arched recesses containing dummy window panels with splayed reveals. Entablature and pediment over. Three tall windows with centre mullions and 3 transomes to side elevations."

The Cross Keys is a Fuller's outlet on the High Street. It is Grade II Listed and the Historic England website describes it thus:- "C17 or earlier, altered, stucco front elevation with plinth. Old tiled roof. Two storeys, wooden modillion cornice. Two C19 sashes and canted bay window on right of door. Single storey wing on left with 3 windows and door. Old wing at rear." By a bizarre and unplanned coincidence the photographer photographed another Fuller's pub called The Cross Keys in a different location entirely the day before. Please see Image

Located at 60 High Street HP16 0AT, this bank was formerly a branch of Lloyds Bank until it changed to TSB in September 2013. It has recently been announced that this branch will be closing on Wednesday 17th March 2021 and the automated teller machine to the right to be taken out at the same time.

It remains to be seen who the next occupant will be, but feel sure that it won't be another bank! There used to be at one time four banks in Great Missenden. Now there aren't any. How times have changed!
