Located at 81-83 High Street, Great Missenden, HP16 0AL, this museum was opened in June 2005, and was created as a home for the author's unique archive. The wording on the front says: IT IS TRULY SWIZZFIGGLINGLY FLUSHBUNKINGLY GLORIUMPTIOUS. There is also a Café Twit at this museum.

Great Missenden: The former Red Lion public house
This is the former Red Lion public house at No 62 High Street. Surprisingly, given the external timbering, extent of overlapping vertical tiles, and arrays of gables and dormer windows, it is not a nationally Listed Building.

Great Missenden: Old Bucks C C fingerpost sign
This old Buckinghamshire County Council fingerpost sign is outside Nos 90 & 92 High Street, at its junction with Church Street. The fingerposts read to the left (A413) Amersham 4½ London 32, and to the right Wendover 4½ Aylesbury 10 (A413). The High Street was once the A413 but has now been bypassed by the current A413. No 90 High Street on the right, and occupied by the Papillon Boutique, is a Grade II Listed Building, grouped with Nos 84, 86 & 88.
