Cottages, pasture and woodland below Stokenchurch
The cottages are one of two pairs of semis on the estate road north of Wellground Farm. They are viewed from the bridleway that climbs through woodland to the east. The scenery is typical Chiltern mix of woodland and pasture, valleys and ridges.

Estate land at Wellground
This is part of the extensive Wormsley Park estate. This is a private area. There are discreet but firm signs off the footpaths and bridleways making the visitor conform to staying on the public rights of way.

A well-maintained fence beside an estate road at Wormsley. This is taken at the junction of bridleway and footpath at the southern extremity of the grid-square. The wood is named Gooseneck Wood on larger scale maps.

Across Wormsley Estate
The afternoon sun highlights various trees and woods of the extensive estate. A nice end to the walk, which threatened rain but ended up being bright, but cold.

Cottage, Wellground Farm
Beside an Wormsley Estate road which, as indicated by the arrow, is a right of way (bridleway). Countless arrows have been painted on trees in the Chilterns. This cottage almost has a fairytale appearance as it comes into view through the woodland. It stands at the northern extremity of the grid-square.

Wellground Farm
This is a farm within the extensive Wormsley Park estate. It was something of a surprise to see sheep farming, but the area is not all woodland and this is too steep for arable land.
