St Peter and St Paul?s Church, Stokenchurch
The earliest part of the present building is the chancel which dates from the 12th century, as does part of the nave. Both were partly re-built: the chancel about 1330 and the nave sometime in the 15th century. The Bell turret was re-constructed in 1960 and its height increased by 6ft to give better proportion. http://spspchurch.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=25&Itemid=28

Stokenchurch: The Church of St Peter and St Paul
The earliest part of the church is the nave which dates from the 12th Century. The shingled bell tower with its triangular louvres dates from 1893 and was part of a heavy restoration at that time. The church is basically roughcast and pebbledash over flint with stone dressings. The Church is a Grade II* Listed Building, and there is a comprehensive description of it on the English Heritage Listed Buildings website here: http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1310455
