Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church (1)
Situated in Northridge Way, this new Church was officially opened on Saturday 13th June 2015, replacing the former Bourne Methodist Church on the same site. Services take place here every Sunday at 10.30am, with Messy Church being held on the second Sunday of each month at 3.30pm. Activities also take place here during the week.

Hemel Hempstead: Shrub Hill Common dry valley (2)
Shrub Hill Common is a gently undulating part-wooded chalk dry valley, and, unlike much of the surrounding area, has remained undeveloped for residential housing. This path runs along the bottom of the valley.

Hemel Hempstead: 38 - 52 Long Chaulden
This rather attractive neighbourhood shopping parade is curved and just about completes a quadrant of a circle. Left to right in 2015 are the Co-operative, Choy Fu Fish and Chips, Hair by Susan Cox, the local Sub-Post Office, and the Town Tub launderette. After that there are 3 fairly anonymous units. Maybe they don't open on a Sunday. Above is the usual range of flats.
