Apartments in Hemel Hempstead
I thought high rise blocks were a thing of the 1970s. But not apparently if they are luxury apartments in the centre of Hemel Hempstead, overlooking the cricket club and marketed under the tag line "live the image". Of course they are "mixed development" which means they also contain offices and retail units.

Boxmoor lock 64
The view from the lock across the cricket pitch to the apartments marketed as "live the image". I thought high rise blocks were a thing of the 1970s, but these are luxury apartments in the centre of Hemel Hempstead, and include offices and retail units.

Half naked!
The work to convert the former Kodak office block proceeds apace. Now half unwrapped and reduced to a skeleton, the crane is lowering one of the original concrete cladding panels to the ground.

Waterplay Sculpture and Fountain
The Waterplay bronze sculpture was erected in 1993 and is by the artist Michael Rizzello, OBE . The work symbolises the energy co-operation and sporting spirit of the youth in Dacorum.
