Millennium Beacon, High Wycombe
These are getting quite old now, and most of them have been Geographed long ago, but this one doesn't seem to have been.
In a patch of parkland on the southern slopes of the Wye valley the beacon when lit would be visible from much of the northern and central parts of town.

View over High Wycombe
High Wycombe seems a strange name for a town in quite a steep valley. The high bits are the 20th century suburbs which cover the valley sides to the north and south.
