Overlooking the golf course
These houses are opposite the golf course in the appropriately named Links Road (although it is not really a links course). They will never be overlooked, unless golf suffers a major crash in popularity.

Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath
Oddly none of the road is straight at all so I don't know how it got its name. Long straight main roads in Britain are so rare some are called something similar but clearly not the reason for this one.

Old Hatfield milestone, was on A404, in parish of Chepping Wycombe (Wycombe District), was on Amersham Road, High Wycombe, now The Common, by Ingledell, Flackwell Heath. Now used as gateposts for pedestrian gate, this less good one is on the left. For the right gatepost see: BU_rght20x Image
