Footbridge over the Nidd.
This wooden decked footbridge crosses the river close to Conyngham Hall. The stone piers are much older and more substantial than the deck and would suggest that this may once have been a carriage bridge belonging to the hall. Debris from a summer flood still lodged against the bridge piers.

Conyngham Hall
An 18th century gentleman's residence close to the river in Knaresborough. Most of the major buildings in the town are constructed of the local Magnesian limestone, and a few are in brick, but for Conyngham Hall gritstone from a little further west was used.
