Roadside cottage at Binsoe
Binsoe is a hamlet reached along narrow lanes from either the A6108 or the B6267 and is not really on the road to anywhere in particular. The cottage here shows elements of various local stone, the walls being mostly of rubble quarried locally, whilst the quoins appear to be of carboniferous sandstone obtained from somewhere west of the Ure.

Farm buildings at Binsoe Grange
Barn and cowsheds at Binsoe Grange, with the house out of sight on the opposite side of the road. Any farm bearing the name of 'grange' in this area may have some connection with the local Cistercian abbeys. A quick check shows that Fountains Abbey had a grange at Aldburgh which is only 1km distant, so maybe the actual site was here.
