Grantley Hall
In the good old days this was owned by the West Riding County Council, and there was a variety of educational courses including Orchestral and Chamber Music. This carried on until a few years ago under North Yorkshire County Council (although without the music courses, alas). (Photo taken in 1964)

West Lodge, Grantley Hall
Although this looks as if it could be quite old, it only dates from the early part of the 20th century. There is a bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5538050 on the near corner by the downpipe.
