Sawley Parish Room, dedicatory plaque
The village name was excised during World War II as an invasion precaution.

Sawley Parish Room
Built in 1900 to provide social amenities for the village. Converted to a private house after being sold in 2008 to create a fund to continue to support such activities, the former school now being available for community purposes.
