Cathedral Choir School
Now the playing fields of Ripon Cathedral Choir School, this was once the site of Ripon race course. The main school building was the grandstand.

Former Ripon Cathedral Choir School building
The independent school which once stood here closed in the summer of 2012 and the site has been cleared with the exception of this building. One wonders if there are plans to refurbish it as apartments or whether it too will be demolished like other buildings on the site, which is now seeing new housing.
