New housing development on old school site
New houses being constructed on part of the former Cathedral Choir School site off Whitcliffe Lane. The school was forced to close in 2012 due to crippling debts.

Former Ripon Cathedral Choir School building
The independent school which once stood here closed in the summer of 2012 and the site has been cleared with the exception of this building. One wonders if there are plans to refurbish it as apartments or whether it too will be demolished like other buildings on the site, which is now seeing new housing.
