Ford across the River Skell
The ford is at the north end of Firs Avenue. The depth indicator was showing well under one foot - perhaps only 4 inches - of water at this time, but the indicator is calibrated up to six feet, and a sign warns that the ford is impassable at times.

Priest Lane Footbridge
Floodwater in the River Skell pours under the footbridge, which was vibrating when I walked over it. The river rose several feet after a day of torrential rain.
