Ripon, entrance to Ripon Cathedral School
According to the OS benchmark database there is a benchmark cut into the roadside wall opposite house number 67. The entrance to the school has recently been widened, and it is likely the cutmark has been destroyed during these works. Nothing was found.

New retail park off Rotary Way
Completed in the summer of 2020, this retail park sits on the east side of the city close to the by pass. These are hard times for the retail industry and I don't see many of the other units opening anytime soon. This seems a slightly odd place to build such a park as this side of the city is noted for sudden sink holes appearing due to underlying gypsum. The same concern arises over residential development on the opposite side of the road. Presumably the developers have put in strong foundations.
