Bungalow on Watergate Road
Watergate Road is one of the 'back ways' from the Harrogate area towards Fountains Abbey, but traffic is signposted along different routes as this is a rather narrow lane. Haddockstones farm, which is behind the camera position appears to be under transformation into a series of upmarket residences.

Markington, How Hill Road
This house is on the south-east side of How Hill Road. According to the OS database there is a benchmark cut into a gatepost. 4 gateposts were checked; the 2 in the picture and another 2 at the entrance to a footpath to the right of the house. No benchmark was found.
