Ripley Valley railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1862 by the North Eastern Railway on its line from Harrogate to Pateley Bridge, with the track being roughly where the road now is. Originally called Killinghall, the name was changed to Ripley Valley in 1875. The station closed to passengers in 1951 and the site is now private.

Ripley, new footpath entrance for Nidderdale Greenway
There is a rivet benchmark which has been repositioned onto the new wall created for the Nidderdale Greenway footpath around 10 years ago. The benchmark is on the small piece of wall which is set at right angles to the roadside wall.
