Traveller's Rest, Skipton Road
One of two Traveller's Rests close to Harrogate (see Image). This one is on a busy roundabout northwest of the town where the B6161 crosses the A59 to Skipton.

Milepost on the Dudley Hill - Killinghall Turnpike
This milepost would have been erected around 1838, soon after Otley Road became part of the Turnpike network in Yorkshire. The sign reads: Killinghall 1.5 miles / Bradford 19 miles.
There are quite a lot of mileposts dotted around Harrogate due to its emergence as a town in the late 18th - early 19thC.

Harrogate, Curious Cow PH
According to the OS benchmark database there was a benchmark cut into the north face of the Travellers Rest PH which was at this site until its demolition in 2012. The replacement was Old Spring Wells PH, which has since been rebuilt and renamed the Curious Cow. The benchmark has been destroyed.
